Allison Doke paints plein air, still life, portraits and nudes, working in oil, pastel and charcoal and graphite. Realism – splashed with color – is a particular focus.  She has been drawing since she was a child but only painting for about 8 years.  Her other life as a Delta flight attendant affords her the opportunity to paint in far-flung locations, including most recently Dublin, Barcelona and Lima, Peru.

Her work has been shown in juried shows including Marietta Montage and Painting Methods. She is an organizer for Georgia Landmark Artists, in collaboration with the Marietta-Cobb Museum of Art and the Cobb Landmark Historical Society, to raise awareness of landmarks in and around Cobb County, Georgia, where she lives with her husband and two children. http://georgialandmarkartists.mosaicglobe.com
